Buena Vista Recreation is partnering with Achieve, Inc to provide one-day events/activities/outings appropriate for neuro-diverse people and those with mental health challenges ages 14-25. The outings allow participants to build social, cognitive and teamwork skills while gaining individual confidence. The hot springs event will be gathering at the BV Community Center on April 26th at 1:15 pm in order to travel to depart on the BV bus as a group at 1:30 pm. The participants will swim for about 1.5 hours and return to the BV Community Center close to 4:00 pm. Transportation to and from the Community Center is available from Salida and Leadville if needed. Interested participants need to register for this event no later than April 24th.
